A don from the Faculty of Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye was recently sponsored to a three-day Chemical Security Awareness Workshop by the United States Department of State’s Chemical Security Program (CSP)
Dr. Olufemi O. Adeyemi of the Chemistry Department was invited to participate in the workshop which was administered by Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) in partnership with the Chemical Society of Nigeria. The Workshop took place at Orchid Hotel, Dreamworld-Africana Way, Lekki, Lagos State from Monday, July 23rd and Wednesday, 24th, 2018.
According to the Chemical Society of Nigeria, the Workshop would raise the chemical security awareness among stakeholders in the academia, industry and government. It would also ensure best practices in chemical security and provide resources to mitigate chemical security risks.
