Vice-Chancellor commends the Performing Arts Students

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor G. O. Olatunde has said that he was satisfied with the performance of the drama students from the Department of Performing Arts.  He stressed that the excellent performance of the students has spurred him to provide more facilities for the rehearsals of the students and he promised to do more.

This declaration was made after watching the 2018 Convocation play written by Sam Ukala entitled “IREDI WAR” which was staged at the Pit Theatre of the University.  Immediately after the play, Professor Olatunde disclosed to the audience which consisted of drama students and the University Community that he was glad and impressed with the excellent artistic skills displayed by the students.  He therefore promised to provide all the essential needs that would make the Department to be the best in the country.
