The Vice-Chancellor, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Prof. Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde was quite lucky to have the University Governing Council in session to felicitate with him as he clocked 63 years old.
It was a very short and extremely frugal ceremony which involved the cutting of a birthday cake by the celebrant and a photo session with the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Mrs Mosun Belo-Olusoga and other distinguished members of the University Council. The gathering later sang “Happy Birthday to You” to the amusement of the Vice-Chancellor.
In a brief remark, the Pro-Chancellor described Prof. Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde as a great manager of human and financial resources whose performance as a Vice-Chancellor was amazing considering the limited resources available to him.
Mr Vice-Chancellor, the entire University Community wishes you a momentous celebration. Happy birthday, Sir.
