As we step into 2025, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you all—staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders of our great university. May this year bring renewed energy, inspiration, and opportunities for greater achievements.
Looking back at 2024, we have much to celebrate. Together, we achieved significant milestones, including the accreditation of several new programs, enhanced research capabilities, and the successful completion of key infrastructural projects.
The university also gained recognition for groundbreaking innovations and achievements by our staff and students, cementing Olabisi Onabanjo University’s reputation as a centre of excellence. Importantly, we normalised our academic calendar, ensuring uninterrupted academic sessions—a major accomplishment made possible by the collective efforts of all stakeholders.
I must express my profound appreciation to the University Council, Senate, and Management for their unwavering dedication to advancing the vision of our institution.
To the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ayodeji Agboola, I extend my gratitude for your dynamic leadership and commitment to excellence. Your hard work has been instrumental in the progress we celebrate today.
As we look forward to 2025, I encourage every member of our university community to continue fostering peace, harmony, and dialogue. Let us resolve differences amicably, ensuring that the academic calendar remains uninterrupted. A peaceful and stable environment is essential for sustaining the culture of excellence we all cherish.
