This is to inform all newly admitted students for the 2017/2018 Academic Session that the Orientation programme that will help them to adapt to life at the University will take place on Monday, 19th and Wednesday, 21st February, 2018 at the Lecture Theatre II, Main Campus, Olabisi Onabanjo, University.
Activities slated for the occasion include the opening ceremony, lectures and interactive sessions. The programme will be rounded off with a Jumat Prayer at the Central Mosque, Main Campus on Friday, 23rd February, 2018 at 1.00 p.m. with Dr. Hakeem Akanni of the Department of Religious Studies, leading the prayer while an Interdenominational Prayer will take place on Sunday, 25th February, 2018 at the Lecture Theatre II at 10.00 a.m. Professor A.T. Oduyale, the University Chaplain will be in charge.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde is expected to declare the ceremony open while other members of the university management would also attend.
All new students are expected to be seated by 8.00am. Please see the details below:
