Post-UTME (PUTME) Screening will be conducted for candidates who wish to be admitted into the university for the 2025/2026 academic session, with the application period for UTME and Direct Entry candidates lasting three (3) weeks.
Eligibility/Criteria
1. UTME Candidates
- UTME Candidates who chose the University with a minimum score of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME Results.
- Candidates who did not choose the University but possess a minimum score of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME Results and are willing to change to the University as first choice BEFORE the PUTME registration. (Candidates will not be able to commence with PUTME registration without this)
- Candidates who have duly uploaded their WASCE/NECO O’Level Results on the JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates who have printed their 2025 UTME Result Slip.
- Foreign candidates and candidates with disabilities are EXEMPTED from PUTME screening. Candidates who will not be at least 16 years of age by September 2025 need not apply!
2. Direct Entry Candidates
- Candidates with ‘A’ Level/ OND/HND/NCE/A’LEVEL/JUPEB Results/Certificate or First Degree who had applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB into the University.
- Candidates who possess Diploma certificate of the University and who had applied for Direct Entry admission through JAMB into the University.
- Candidates must have duly uploaded their credentials including their O’Level Results on the JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates with Diploma from other approved institutions with minimum of Upper Credit who had applied through JAMB for Direct Entry admission into the University.

Mode of payment
Each eligible candidate will pay the sum of ₦2,000.00 (two thousand naira only) for the screening exercise and administrative charges.
Candidates are expected to:
- Create a profile and pay online through the University’s PUTME portal: https://putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/apply.php
- Thereafter, generate a payment invoice.
Candidtaes will not be allowed to commence with PUTME registration without this payment.
Mode of registration
- Visit the University Registration Website: https://putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/apply.php
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to continue with your registration.
- After completing the registration form online, print out your OOU PUTME Screening Pass one (1) week to your scheduled screening date.
